For our toolkit 2 term 2/3 project in 'Sculpting'; I'd decided to model Jamie Bennett from the 2012 film 'Rise of the Guardians'. Initially I considered 'Tooth' or the 'Sandman' as potentials to sculpt from, but they both proved too elaborate/unrelated to task (what with Tooth's feathers, and the 'Sandman's' unusual proportions). Jamie, though less well known, is closer to the tasks requirements, having slightly more accurate facial proportions.

We prepped the sculpture using supporting wire, which we'd wound round before adding enough foil to keep it secure in pipe. From there we packed out the head using foil to save using our available clay, and added a layer of Milliput to secure the wire in place. Using what remained of the mixed Milliput, we prepped some eyeballs specific to our chosen characters.
