Adobe Audition: Observing Sounds
Some notes made of sounds observed at a bus stop:
Wheel on wet gravel. A building pitch with the same consistency in volume.
Water splattering down, close to the road.
Sound of a bus engine.
Hhhhhhhhhhhrrrrtm. Hhhhhrrrrrmmmmt. Hrrhhtm. Hrrhmt. Low-ish, rumble.
Lifted marks (intentional and horizontal to traffic), when driven over by car. Click Bom. Click Bom. Click click. Click click.
Dak Dak.
The key of a human voice.
Or similar to a plastic object being pushed inwards and then outwards.
Sound a distant hum (a plane?), or traffic far off.
Sound of someone walking past.
Fabric/clothing quietly rustling. A quiet sound of keys or coins knocking in their pocket.
Distant whine of an ambulance.
Distant snippets of talking from people on the other side of the road.
4-5 muffled, and explosive bangs from engine.
The slipping sound of wet, hard gravel on the small plastic wheels of two prams.
The whistle/high-ish exhale of air pushed through bottom lip and upper teeth.
