Developed Designs

After brainstorming our interests, values and strengths, two themes quickly became apparent: i-nature and ii- space.
The words 'Cosmic' and 'Orchid' were quick to emerge thereafter, and immediately set a potential basis for our studio's graphical design. One with an emphasis on colour, and simplicity.
I'd tried merging the two together, by 'eyedropping' colours from existing space images (courtesy of Nasa's site), in Photoshop, and integrating parts of the orchid (the roots, overlapping leaves, etc.)  into the lettering.
However, after a group discussion, it became clearer that this would be too obscure for the viewer to pick up on. Therefore, I'm revisiting the designs to make clearer visual links to the orchid, and to experiment with a stronger 'pastel' aesthetic.
Also Alan's suggestion to consider Nasa related logos and patches nicely relates to the 'space-like' theme, and will help clear up the designs into a more graphical form.
