Hi Rachael - I really like the 'analogue' factor implied by all the SFX and sense of something physical taking place. In this sense, I'd question whether you even need any spoken element; it doesn't happen in accompaniment to the processes you're showing, so it's not as if the piece is being narrated. I think you could simply have the 'Discuss Figure 1' as a sort of bookish looking intertitle, that soon gives way to this extraordinary landscape... In keeping with the old school factor, you could accompany the intertitle with the SFX of one of those old slide carousel projectors - the clunk-click of old lecture theatres, when they used to have slide projectors at the back of the room for showing presentations...
